Full lenght solo album in two movements, transmutation of black ground into gold...

Enregistré au début de l’hiver 2009, il aura fallu attendre plus de six ans pour que cet album, le 13ème de SORC’HENN voit le jour. C’est le titre qui manquait. Et rien n’allait sans le bon titre : « Terre Noire » n’allait pas exactement à cet endroit. Une intrigue d’enfance, lorsque je voyais le bus et ce terminus étrange qui menait à « Terre Noire », j’imaginais un village hors du temps, un fort médiéval ou un manoir en ruine, un tertre habité par des lapins… Un autre souvenir intriguant, celui des termaji qui un jour sont venues nous annoncer qu’elles avaient trouvé les clés du paradis. Par association, et par erreur, je me suis imaginé les portes du paradis. Mais, maintenant je crois qu’il faut faire un tour plus bas pour trouver ces fichues clés. Six ans finalement, ce n’est pas si long.

Recorded in early winter 2009, it took more than six years before the release of this album, the 13th by SORC'HENN. The title was missing. And nothing was possible with a wrong title : "Terre Noire" was not exactly there. A childhood story, when I saw the bus terminus and the strange leading to "Terre Noire", I imagined a timeless village, a medieval fort or a ruined mansion, a mound inhabited by rabbits... Another intriguing souvenir, that of termaji who came to tell us they had found the keys to paradise. By association, and by mistake, I imagined the gates of paradise. But now I think we have to dig deep to find these damn keys. Six years is not so long.

Appearing at the end of the 90's with some free experiments, the one-man project really emerged in 2006 by the released of a pianodoom selection "Harmonium pieces and dead reveries" released by FaunaSabbatha, the section of RuralFaune label. Then followed many high voltage short runs on rad labels. Appears on the Compodium of 100 underworld musical by Julian Coppe, no less... ... more
